English: On 2015 April 11 and 25, around 30 school and university professors gathered to the first NeuroMat Workshop for Public School Teachers. The goal of this workshop was to establish a channel of exchange between educational practices in classrooms and contemporary science, attempting to bring up topics of discussion that are at the frontier of science to bear on school content. This workshop was the result of a partnership between the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (NeuroMat/FAPESP) and the Municipal School Desembargador Amorim Lima, in São Paulo, Brazil.
